About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking fun, experienced, and professional advanced piano teacher to teach full-time (over 30 hours per week) at Cappella Music Academy at our Tacoma, WA location. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON!

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in piano performance or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.  Preference will be given to candidates with availability matching the desired hours:  Monday-Thursday 12:30pm-8:30pm, and Friday 12:30pm-8:00pm. This position will take over a schedule from a departing teacher, start date for this position will be October 1st.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $32-$34/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job. Health benefit packages are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.
