Glenn Middle School is seeking an Associate Choral Director to help lead our talented students and shape the future of our choral program.
Program Details:
- 200+ students ranging from 6th-8th grade
- Sweepstakes awards at UIL
- Supportive admin and community
- Collaboration with other secondary directors in the district -Brand new facilities in Fall 2028
Responsibilities include:
Directing and conducting 3 of our choirs and assisting with the rest.
Developing and implementing a comprehensive and engaging choral curriculum.
Planning and executing concerts, performances, and participation in UIL.
Recruiting and retaining students in the choral program.
Collaborating with head choir director and Elementary music educators to ensure program continuity.
Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Communicating effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Music Education.
Valid Texas teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
High piano proficiency is optimal but not required.
