Job Title: RN – Behavioral Health/Psych
Location: New York, NY 10004 (Travel across all boroughs, not on the same day)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8-hour shifts | 40 hours per week
Patient Population: Adults (18+)
The Behavioral Health/Psych RN provides nursing care, assessment, and support to adult patients across multiple boroughs. This role requires strong psychiatric nursing experience and the ability to deliver compassionate care in community-based or mobile settings.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
Conduct assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient responses.
Deliver crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document patient information, assessments, and treatment outcomes accurately.
Travel across assigned boroughs to deliver services (not multiple boroughs in the same day).
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and coping strategies.
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, regulations, and organizational protocols.
Minimum 2 years of psychiatric/behavioral health nursing experience (required).
Active New York State RN License (required).
Primary Source Verification (required).
Current AHA BLS certification (required).
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification (required).
