COMPLIANCE ANALYST

Our client is a financial services company in CT looking for a Compliance Analyst. This is a high-impact role for an experienced compliance professional who thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment. They are a fintech and specialty finance company providing capital solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. This role reports directly to the Chief Compliance Officer.

Position Summary: Support the administration of the company's Compliance Management System with primary focus on BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC compliance, monitoring, testing, policy reviews, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and resolve/escalate OFAC matches and conduct monthly OFAC scrubs and 314a reporting
• Investigate complaints, Red Flags, and day-to-day compliance monitoring activities
• Support risk assessments, compliance testing/audits, and external exam responses
• Assist with policy/procedure updates, state license maintenance, and compliance training administration
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls
• Support internal and external reporting requirements

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years compliance or risk management experience, preferably in lending/financial services
• Strong knowledge of BSA/AML laws and regulations
• Bachelor's degree required
• CAMS and/or CRCM certification preferred
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with changing priorities
