Default Management Specialist

Midwest Technical Institute, an established career college with campuses throughout the Midwest and Mississippi Delta region, is seeking a full-time Default Management Specialist for Midwest Technical Institute.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work in an office environment assisting students with Loan Management issues.

Job Duties Include:

• Correspond with students via phone calls, emails, texts etc. Utilize computer software for documentation purposes.
• Answering student questions and anticipating loan management concerns in a manner that is customer focused. Assist in connecting students to loan servicers.
• Organizing documents in EXCEL.
• Where necessary counsel students to ensure financial obligations are honored.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and organizational skills are a must
• Customer service experience preferred
• Computer proficiency in EXCEL
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to Multi-task
