Job Description:
KBOX Enterprises is seeking an experienced Full Time Box Truck Driver and Furniture Delivery and Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves driving a 26ft box truck for the delivery and assembly of furniture at customer locations. This is a customer-centric position and white glove, and as a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating the truck, loading and unloading furniture, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries and assemblies. This is a full-time position for 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive a box truck to deliver and assemble furniture at customer locations.
• Load, unload, and securely transport furniture.
• Assemble and set up furniture in customer homes or businesses.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service throughout the delivery and assembly process.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and according to customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery area, following safety protocols.
• Work with the team to meet daily and weekly performance goals.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in box truck driving and furniture delivery/assembly or similar physical labor work.
• Must pass a 7 year background check and drug test (background check may take 2-3 weeks to process)
• Clean driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid way to commute to the warehouse which is located in Durham.
• Ability to lift heavy furniture and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time: Tuesday through Saturday.
• Hours: 7-11 hours per day depending on the season.
• Day starts at 5:00am and ends once deliveries are complete.

Compensation:

• Daily Pay : $175 (ability to make quarterly performance bonuses based on business revenue).
• Biweekly Pay : Payments issued every two weeks via direct deposit.
• Contract : 1099 Independent Contractor position
