Description Our Nonprofit client is looking for a Development / Fundraising Manager to support them 40hr/wk, remote, through April, 2026. Must be in Eastern Time Zone. You will be responsible in development operation, grants/proposal management, and project coordination. Responsibilities: Development Operations + Execute donor acknowledgement processes and maintain detailed records of grants and gifts to ensure seamless reporting and data integrity. + Provide data analysis on fundraising performance and campaign effectiveness to support strategic decision-making by the Chief Development Officer (CDO). + Liaise with the finance department to ensure proper recording and reconciliation of revenue. + Oversee the invoice and expense submission process for the Development Team, ensuring timely submission, proper coding and compliance with organizational policies. + Help manage and support the Chief Development Officer (CDO) in executing the moves management process, especially for grants. + Provide additional project management support to the CDO. Grant Proposals and Reports + Serve as project manager for the development of all grant proposals, ensuring timely submissions. + Support the CDO and Director of Institutional Giving in developing and submitting winning grant proposals and reports. High-Quality Donor Communications + Collaborate with the Development and Marketing and Communications teams to develop and manage distribution lists for fundraising campaigns, especially the EOY Campaign. Requirements + Bachelor's Degree or 1 - 3 years of experience in law, policy, government, research, or other relevant fields + At least 1 year of proposal development experience + Strong writing and editing skills + Strong attention to detail + Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills + Exceptional interpersonal and written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work in and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment + Strong analytical and problem-solving capacity, with the ability to spot issues within data and systems and proactively fix them or identify possible solutions + Able to juggle multiple activities at a time and work in a fast-paced environment + Experience working with Executive/leader a huge plus + Proficient in Google Suite, Salesforce, Campaign Monitor, Asana, Funraise or other donation processing systems is a plus + Able to work well with others and diverse groups + A belief in the power of state and local governments to make positive, progressive change in the world Innovation starts with people.® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
