Aegis Worldwide is looking for an Electro‑Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to ensure our production assets run safely, efficiently, and reliably while helping the plant hit its KPIs.

Impact Areas

• Asset Care & Repair
  • Diagnose and repair equipment and facility systems across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic disciplines.
  • Execute major rebuilds and heavy repairs (gearboxes, large bearings) with precision.
  • Complete scheduled tasks like extruder screw and grinder blade changes during planned downtime.
  • Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned stoppages.
• Projects & Improvements
  • Install and modify new or existing production equipment to meet operational needs.
  • Deliver engineering changes and capital projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Track performance metrics and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Engage contractors, OEMs, vendors, and machine shops to accelerate repairs and installations.
  • Align with procurement for timely parts sourcing and delivery.
  • Work with the Maintenance Manager to enhance the CMMS for better planning and data integrity.
• Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure equipment and tools meet safety and operational standards.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education & Training
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, or 2+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience & Skills
  • Manufacturing experience working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Fluent in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and PM expertise.
  • Capable of operating forklifts and boom lifts.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel familiarity preferred.
