Job Description

Leggett & Platt Flooring Products is seeking a strategic and people-focused Regional Sales Manager to lead our high-performing southeast sales team. As the largest manufacturer of carpet cushion and hard surface underlayment in the U.S., we pride ourselves on delivering comfort, quality, and innovation to homes and businesses across the country.

In this role, you will oversee a team of Territory Managers, guiding them in servicing existing accounts, developing new business, and executing regional sales strategies. You’ll be instrumental in driving growth, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring alignment with company goals and values.

So, what will you be doing as a Regional Manager?

  • Lead, coach, and develop Territory Managers across seven southeast states
  • Drive regional sales performance by setting goals, monitoring KPIs, and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing facilities and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Support Territory Managers in expanding market share, managing pricing strategies, and resolving account issues.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold Leggett & Platt’s core values in all regional activities.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of sales experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven success in leading sales teams and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the flooring industry or related manufacturing sectors preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
  • Willingness to travel 25-30% within the region.
