Pay Rate: $2,631 weekly gross
Position OverviewNavitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team on a contract basis in Hackensack, NJ 07601 . The RN will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting physicians and ensuring the well-being of mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients and assist physicians with direct patient care.
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
Identify patient needs and set priorities through ongoing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans.
Initiate assessments based on patient needs, physician diagnosis, and functional health framework.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
Document all care provided, reflecting patient acuity and clinical priorities.
Advocate for evidence-based care standards and support adoption of innovative practices.
Deliver patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
Maintain compliance with clinical, safety, and organizational standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education
Required: ASN (Associate Degree in Nursing)
Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
Licensure & Certifications
Required:
Active NJ State RN license or multi-state compact license
BLS (AHA)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Preferred:
ACLS
Advanced AWHONN or EFM certification
