Job Description

Salary: $90,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• I require an active Secret clearance.
• Due to contract stipulations, I can only consider US Citizens; dual citizenship holders are not eligible.
• I expect a minimum of 7 years of experience in a relevant DevOps, release management, or configuration control position.
• It is essential to have experience with version control systems, with a preference for GitLab.
• I need experience managing enterprise-level deployments in multiple environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
• Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance for daily onsite work and on-call obligations.
• Given that this contract supports systems requiring continuous uptime, I expect candidates to be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule.
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities:

• I will oversee all DevOps and configuration changes throughout the program.
• I will act as the backup facilitator for production stability release events.
• I will facilitate the Change Request Queue (CRQ) and Operational Change Control Board (OCCB) meetings.
• I will create and distribute agendas, meeting notes, and calendar invitations.
• I will notify stakeholders across the program.
• I will manage software builds and coordinate releases/deployments to test, staging, and production servers for all mission applications.
• I will review and update implementation plans in accordance with document control policies.
• I will distribute notifications related to release activities.
• I will perform GitLab administrative tasks such as upgrades, patching, incident management, and user/account control.
• I will undertake other tasks as requested.
