Project Description
We are seeking a Freelance Product Designer to support learning.sap.com on a temporary project basis. The freelancer will work closely with product and engineering teams to leverage and evolve our existing design system, ensuring consistent, user-centric, and scalable design solutions that improve the learning experience.
Goal
Deliver responsive, accessible, and high-quality designs that align with our brand standards while strengthening and extending our design system for future needs.
Key Responsibilities
Create end-to-end user flows, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes in Figma
Apply and evolve design system components for consistency and efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on design delivery
Document design system updates and communicate changes effectively
Expertise Required
Proven freelance experience with design systems and Figma libraries
Strong skills in UI, interaction, and visual design for responsive web apps
Ability to deliver clear specifications and design assets independently
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a distributed team setup
Fluent English (German a plus); prior experience in the education sector is a strong advantage
